Great news! Enjoying the rotating door for our prospects this year. Hopefully Strömgren is able to have a decent showing

Good guys are shut-out 4-0 by the Roadrunners. Sergeev stops 28 of 31 in 58:41, for a 1-1-2-0 record, with a 3.17 GAA, and a .916 SV%.

Important opportunity for him as there are a ton of forwards coming up behind him. Tick tock.

Also, Morin is an over age player for the CHL, so they would have to find a team that has room for another over age player (the maximum allowed is 3 and Moncton currently has 3). Even though Basha is currently 20, he was still 19 when the season started, so he isn't over age this season and the Tigers don't need to make any special moves to fit him on the roster.

An ECHL would smoke a CHL team. They are just older and more developed as humans, vast majority of ECHL players would have played in the CHL (or US junior league at some point). But you are right that the CHL team would have more AHL/NHL players at some point.

The Wranglers lose 4-3 in a SO to Abbotsford. Dryden Hunt was named Third Star, with 1g, 1a, and a +1.
Morton (Gridin, Hunt)
Hunt (unassisted)
King (Silye, Cicek)
Say stops 7 of 9 in 26:26 TOI. 6-7-4-1, with a 3.36 GAA, and a .889 SV%. (TOI doesn't match up with any goals)
Sergeev stops 16 of 17 in 38:34 TOI. 1-1-3-0, with a 2.95 GAA, and a .919 SV%.
I'm assuming injury?
Suniev was the lone Wrangler to score in the SO, out of 5.
Lekkerimaki and Alriksson (winner) score for Abbotsford.

Connor Murphy has been recalled to the Wranglers from Rapid City. Safe to assume Say may be injured.

As long as Gridin gets a point, the wins/losses don't matter, lol.

I wonder how close Prosvetov is to coming back. “Week-to-week” status has gone on for quite a while.
The Cooley extension has pretty much sealed his fate, and I’d rather see the kids play the majority of the remaining games.

Wranglers get thumped 5-1 at the hands of the Bakersfield Trash Birds. Connor Murphy lets in all five over forty minutes, to be mopped up by Arsenii Sergeev in the third.
Aydar Suniev with the lone Wranglers goal (assist from Tacoboy).

Sergeev is obviously missing tomorrow's ECHL All Star Game (another goaltender was added). It will be interesting to see what happens to the goaltending rotation when Prosvetov returns. Say is out month-to-month.

Pospisil looked ok, Will take time to return to pre-injury form but he had a few good hits and some good looking rushes.
Parekh to me is exactly where he needs to be with the Wranglers. Super skilled, super smooth skating but not very disciplined.. When the Parekh show works, it is highlights.... however there is a lot of time where it didn't seem to work and ends with turn over or a defensive player being VERY far out of position due to the risks taken. Entertaining to watch for sure.
