How many loser points or games that they were minutes from dropping in regulation have been pulled out of the fire because of an undeserving PP call on a rehearsed dive or stick hold by one of the usual suspects?

If they received the same amount of late game or situational help as most other teams they'd be hard pressed to make the playoffs.

It’s the only way the league has to try to get Mavi over the top. They have invested countless marketing $$ to make him the face of the league and he hasn’t been able to win in Edmonton (not to mention he has the personality of a potato).

Thank goodness younger players such as Bédard and Celebrini are starting to shine so that will soon displace Mavi from the chosen one status and the league won’t have to rig this stuff any longer.

Celebrini has already shown 10 times the personality McDiver has. The highlights of him and Will Smith and Toffoli are already more entertaining than anything McCardboard has ever done.

MacKinnon is tied in points with McLoser and is a +48 compared to McDavid's +2, and yet he barely gets mentioned on any of the SN panels. Everything is always McDavid, McDavid, McDavid with those clowns.

One of the other things that the premier league does better is that the panels have a neutral “emcee” that asks good questions and steers the conversations. They also make it clear that certain commentators/analysts are former players of team x or y. You end up with a conversation from both sides and criticism of both sides.

Compare that with oilersnet. Neutrality doesn’t exist even with (and especially) emcee fanboy Maclean.
