You seem to have a weird hate on for the media and sometimes athletes themselves.
Friedman's point was that no one signs up for their family life being exposed to this stuff. And I agree with him, that's over the line. Doesn't matter how much someone is being paid, that type of stuff is out of bounds.
Second, we don't even know if it's true. So when you say "I'm sure the family didn't sign up for being cheated on" why are you assuming anything is true? And why is it any of your business anyways?
You think if your family was subject to this type of ugly rumor it wouldn't impact things at home even if they weren't true.
Just a horrible take from you on this.

I’d almost argue it’s pressure by the agent to get other offers to Calgary. The original tweet is by a vehicle rep for the teams. Talks to agents not management.
Them saying “Detroit is one offer, maybe we can get more cities to choose from” or beat this offer
Edit: That would leave me to believe it’s in their court to extend or not

Yeah CMP is a Cadillac Chevrolet Buick GMC dealer in Calgary. He will work with he agent or the agents rep to arrange vehicle leases. So would get this information from the agency.
Edit: no clue who DSB is but likely a similar thing. As soon as there is smoke it’s likely the agent looking for options or leverage.

It really does seem a little too good to be true. And let's be honest with ourselves here, most of the time trades show up or of nowhere. Typically with a Lebrun/Freidman tweet saying "Hearing Flames and Detroit are talking" or something to that effect.
That being said, Detroit or "wings" has been featured more than once in the recent GIF parade.
