Yes he’s legit. When CMPDave posts its with actual info and usually names. He’s tied in with the player agents

Yep, don’t disagree. Always hard because at the end of the day “comparable trades” is the key to what to expect.
The prioritization of quality above quantity is also great to hear, because the best package in recent years was H. Lindholm, and I think two 1sts (or value of two 1sts) is effectively what he returned - and I’d sooner get the actual two 1sts (Danielson being one, pick being the other) rather than something like a 1st and two 2nds or whatever equates two 1sts in value.

I think Detroit has a really good shot at getting him.

Connie is probably holding out for that seventh round draft pick back.

Would be one the Flames would be interested in I'm told along with ASP and Nygard.
(No I'm not saying Calgary's getting any or all 3, just the 3 top "targets" for the Flames)

I'm out of the loop. Who is Nygard?
Edit: found it. Michael Brandsegg-Nygĺrd

Honestly, that would be a crazy one for one.
ASP isn't as offensively gifted as Parekh, but more well rounded. Future slotting would be :
ASP
Parekh
Bruz
which is straight up crazy. That would take a tonne of pressure off of Parekh in the future, and let him be a Brent Burns kind of rover. I'd put Connie's chances at ASP at around 8.7%.

Yeah he seems like a bit of a pipe dream, I can't believe his name has even come up. Seems like a future stud. Dare to dream!

Would still be cool to get someone named Bear to go along Wolf and Frost.
…but I suppose we’ll just have to make due.

Some hope with the Detroit rumour.
I was listening to the 32 Thoughts Podcast yesterday and then again listened to Friedman's segment today on CBC, and this guy is such a politician. Regarding the Ottawa situation he said they had to put out a statement because guys would demand a trade as their families didn't sign up for that? It's a random person who sent out a tweet. It took a life of it's own, yes, but it wasn't team sanctioned, and could have happened in any city. If there wasn't some truth to it why would guys be so defensive over this? Just tell your significant other it simply isn't true (if it isn't), and move on. But the team certainly seems super rattled by it which shows there may be something to it. In any case, Friedman said that he'd demand a trade if that happened to him as his family didn't sign up for it (it being a random rumor). I'm sure the family didn't sign up for being cheated on either, but let's ignore that aspect. Friedman holding water for the guys who pay his paycheque once again.

The thing i like about detroits prospects is that there are some real buy low candidates there. Kasper was fantastic last year and is having a terrible sophomore slump, bear is having a bit of regression in his +1 draft year and Danielson is still adapting to the pros. they are all top 10 or close to top 10 picks and I liked all three in their draft year. If they were having good seasons their names wouldnt even be coming up. Maybe we are dreaming but any of the three with a 1st and i would be really happy. As others have said too Danielson coming in paves the way for kadri to move on too and another good return as they surely wouldnt trade for a player like that and bury him behind kadri frost and backlund on the 4th line with lomberg
