When asked about reports that the U.S. Attorney’s Office has limited Minnesota state investigators’ access to the case, Vance defended the decision, saying federal officials have “absolute immunity” when conducting federal law enforcement operations.
“The unprecedented thing is the idea that a local official can actually prosecute a federal official with absolute immunity,” Vance said. “It would get tossed out by a judge.”
Absolute immunity.
That's not scary at all

Apparently the ICE agent who shot Renee Good has been identified as Jonathan Ross, which is a very unfortunate turn of events for the British talk show host also named that.

I'd suggest checking out my post on the last page and reading the article. It explains this is bull####. But the reality is, they will just do whatever they want. Legally? No. No absolute immunity.
I think the senate also passed a resolution today to hang the Jan 6 plaque honoring The Capitol Police.
This is perhaps the easiest W the republicans have ever gotten. Blame Dems for the longest shutdown in history, turn around and vote for the same subsidies in the new year and look like the magnanimous heroes who are here to give people direct monetary relief but only after those premiums spike so people really feel the difference and "appreciate" it.
You'll know for sure their angle when it gets to the senate. If it happens to pass you'll know it was a ploy from day one. If it fails then hey nice own goal but I'd wager it passes the senate and they take the credit to be the good guys.
In the city there's a thousand men in uniforms
And I've heard they now have the right to kill a man
We wanna say, we gonna tell ya
About the young idea

CPB was also having problems with officers standing in front of vehicles as an excuse to shoot at them, so they had to add this:
Quote:
— Agents should not discharge their weapons against a moving vehicle, unless it poses a deathly threat. For example, if a person is aiming the vehicle at an agent. The new policy also tells agents not to use their body to block a vehicle's path, nor should they fire at a vehicle fleeing from agents.
Lol so they're also dumb as #### AND also deplorable ####s.
My god, how low can they go.
Not surprising. When I was in Vancouver recently at a wedding, one of the channels on the TV in the hotel room was an American station. I watched some of the ICE ads that get played. These were not being targeted towards the educated part of the population who are educated or have some degree of intelligence. It was pretty obvious that the white hillbillies and rednecks were the target audience. "Your chance to be a somebody in the country that treats you like a nobody". Something along those lines, followed by a few action scenes of ICE chasing some brown people then american flags waving all over. I wish I was kidding.

Pretty sure it's Jonathan Woss.
