Yeah, there are some excellent players on some underperforming teams that could certainly be changing clubs. WillieD needs to be working the phone over the next week.

Absolutely.
They are going to have to empty the cupboards to turn their mediocre team into something that might not get embarrassed at the Memorial Cup.
I'm hoping the Tigers repeat as champs and pummel Kelowna 10-0 in the round robin.

They could be in tough to even make the playoffs and might face either Everett or PG in the opening round. We could see a repeat of the 2013 Memorial Cup where the host Blades were swept in the opening round of the WHL playoffs.

That'd be one hell of a deadline pick up and wouldn't cost the Tigers a single asset to acquire. Hope it's true.

Jon Keen reporting that the could be an announcement as early as today for the Tigers adding an impact forward.
On his podcast, Keen and Dustin Forbes shared that they have heard Medicine Hat might be adding a significant piece from a western conference team.

If they add Basha back and then trade for a guy like Cootes, holy F balls they will be tough to beat again.
If they do add Basha they will have to trade/cut an overager. One of Neutens, Volotovskii or JVM. Neutens would be my guess.
