Yeah that’s nuts. Now last year some of the teams with byes were not good and that was fixed this year.

If you look at the betting lines, I believe the favorites are 4 and 4 in total so it does look a little different.

I'm happy for the Ole Miss players. Pretty clutch performance by their kicker there as it looked like that game winning field goal could be blocked.

Oregon and Miami are definitely established programs who have been here before. But seeing Ole Miss and Indiana is something new. Indiana certainly looks like a team on a mission right now. Had ND been in over JMU or Tulane we may have had one more compelling game.

I don't know what the fix looks like, but the Ole Miss situation keeps getting sillier and sillier. They may lose more coaches as they go deeper into what should be the ultimate goal of any college team and coach.

This FCS game was a bit bonkers at the end.

First Montana State blocks the go ahead FG with under a minute left. Illinois State had dominated the second half coming back from a 21-7 half time deficit to tie things up at 28. Bring the ball back to the other side of the 50. On third down in FG range, they notch a third down snap and lose 18 yards forcing them to punt with under 20 seconds left. Game goes to OT.

Illinois State needs two plays to score their TD in OT. But again the Bobcats block the kick so it's 34-28. On their possession they have 4th and 10 from the 14. Illinois State send the pressure and the Montana State guy finds his guy for the TD. They make their kick and win the game. Maybe Justin Lamson and Taco Dowler end up in the CFL.

My uncle and now my cousin work at Montana State and have been to a couple games in Bozeman so was defiantly happy for them that the Bobcats pulled it out somehow

This has been a fun first semi-final. Miami looked like the better team for 3 quarters, but kinda fell apart so far in the 4th with penalties.

Right?? I could've sworn the Barn Burner pod this week, when talking about all the pigskin this weekend, said: "Both NCAA semi-finals on Friday to start...". It seems like nobody up here knew.

Was also at the gym, when I saw it on mute at first, I thought it was just highlights getting people ready for the game the next day.

Man the whole playoff team has really kind of made the championship seem less important now. Miami is a very mediocre team and a bit of an embarrassment to be in the final.

They beat the #2, #6 and #7 seeds and beat the #11 team during the season who clearly should have made the playoff.

I hate Miami as much as the next guy but hot streak or not, they’ve clearly earned it.

If nothing else this just proves that Miami deserved to be there and ND or BYU maybe should have made it and that the SEC didn’t deserve 5 teams making it.
