Timeout on 4th down. Unfortunate, but if you don't get it there it doesn't matter. But that extra time out 2oukd have given them 3 shots at the end

So I hope the NFL does right and makes Seahawks-Niners the SNF game, put the win and in games on Saturday cause they're probably gonna suck.

It's not, Ravens-Steelers just too powerful even though it will smell of foul ass. We've watched the Niners go over 40 two weeks in a row and it's arguably two of the three best teams in the league, horrific decision but whatever.

An entire season of hearing how Williams was a system QB who cant win games with his arm and all the garbage that comes with it, seeing him sling it for 60 minutes and keep up with one of the NFLs top scoring offenses and play callers is certainly encouraging

Collingsworth endless babble did make one point though. Caleb still misses too many of those wide open throws.
Had he hit WIDE open Duvernay on that last drive there would have been tons of time at the end.
Caleb makes lots of throws almost no one else can make, and also misses some throws every QB should make.
He has shown tremendous growth this season though, and this town is Bears crazy. Nothing fires up Chicago sports fans like the Bears.

Chicago is a great sports town. I was watching 670 The Score on youTube last week after they beat the Packers and boy were they fired up. It was still a tough road for the Bears to win the NFC so it's not like it's a devastating loss.

He needs to learn some touch under pressure. A floater is an easy completion to Duvernay and damn near a TD

It would seem fitting for the Falcons to win their last two games and end up as the NFC South winner in a 3 way tie of 8-9 teams.

In predictable NFC South comedy fashion the Falcons can't actually win the NFC South (they were actually eliminated almost a month ago), but they control the destiny of the division. Bucs are out in a three way finish, so if the Bucs win next week and the Falcons win out, the Panthers win the NFC South even if they lose to the Bucs. Another reminder that the NFC South should be liquidated.

Nobody really thinks the Rams are losing tonight though, do they?

The Rams are winning out to go 13-4 to ensure they get the 5 seed and get an easy win @Carolina or @Tampa. The Seahawks vs Niners game is obviously for the #1 seed, but if the Niners lose they go to 12-5 and therefore finish below the Rams, and would have to play at Philadelphia or Chicago as the 6 seed. If the Seahawks lose, they would have a 3-3 divisional record compared with the Rams' 4-2 divisional record, and would also lose the tiebreak to the Rams as a result, so they'd be in the same position.

Other than getting the bye, being the 5 seed is probably the best place to be in the NFC, so I don't think LA is going to let off the gas at all.

I think fans and talking heads make a lot more out of playoff seeding than any team ever will. I don't think the Rams lose this game on purpose, they'll play to win...but Atlanta could show up here not wanting to get embarrassed in a prime time game. Ultimately the Packers are locked into the 7th seed. The Rams will know before they play on Sunday if they can finish 5th or not and who finished 2nd or 3rd between Chicago and Philly. I still expect they'll play more backups in week 18 no matter what. I think they're still miles ahead of Arizona if they do.. They have a better shot of winning in Philly with Stafford healthy than they would in Carolina with Garropolo.
