Bears D is pretty caca if they aren't getting turnovers. Easy money for the Niners right now.

Not at all. Like, the Vikings screwed up by betting on McCarthy but I still respect what they're doing. The Colts, the Packers, the Chiefs... anyone can get buried by injuries. Plenty of teams that may not have the talent to win a lot of games, but go down swinging and make it tough to play them.
Winning regular season games doesn't make you a serious franchise, you have to play like you have some self respect. Look at this defense right now. Not even putting up a fight out there. That's just not acceptable.

The Bears have more man games lost than any other team in the NFL.
I mean it looks like the 49ers are about as serious as the Bears right now

Both these defenses are pretty bad though, Niners got carved up by old man Rivers and again tonight looking like Swiss cheese.

Like more starter man games lost on defense? Really? ... Ok, if that's true then they get a pass, just as the 9ers do.

The 49'ers are a throwback to the one dimensional offence only teams that used to outscore their defensive woes enough to be a playoff team. A rarity in this year's NFL.

Caleb's first TD was decent coverage, but like every other completion by both QBs tonight has been to a wide ass open receiver. But hey after having watched the Eagles win a game with 17 yards of offense in a half, I'm down for a defense no show game.

I mean why would you ever punt, every offensive play is good for an easy 5+ yards.

Yes. The most in the NFL as per SIS
Going into this week 299 total man games lost.
Compared to the serious Vikings (144), Packers (200), Colts (224), and Chiefs (166)
That includes 3 weeks where they were starting practice roster LBs because their LB 1,2,3 were all injured
Also, you're probably the only person I've seen advocate for the Vikings after pinning their franchise on JJ McCarthy

OK, but are we talking starters or third stringers? Because it doesn't matter if you lose your backup QB if your starter never gets hurt. They adjust these things by relative value. This suggests they aren't near the top of the list for most affected.

I have watched the Seahawks all year and I get it. Darnold is a guy you can have success with but he can also just fall apart and your season's over. I took a wait and see approach with him and at this point he is who he is, you either are willing to live with the warts or you don't, and I think both answers to that question are defensible.

Speaking of lame, the Bears get up to the line in more than enough time to run a play before the two minute warning, instead try the draw them offsides play....on first down?? What a waste.

That also references points lost as in EPA expectancy, which is a complete gray area of guessing. Yes every team will be missing some random backup guard every game.
Chicago had Kyler Gordon, Trumajne Edwards, TJ Edwards, Jaylon Johnson, Austin Booker, Rome Odunze, Dayo Odeyingbo, Shemar Turner, Terrel Smith all hit IR this year. Let alone any other multi game injuries any other team sees sprinkled in.
Regardless, injuries happen to every team and the Bears are far from a team that has benefited from a lucky "healthy" season

The draw them offsides play is the one where you know the other team is never snapping the ball, no defensive player should ever fall for it, yet for whatever reason it keeps happening (see Chris Jones on Christmas). The one in the first quarter was just a hard count, there was like 2+ minutes left in the quarter.

Niners are just the box office team of the moment, offense is peaking, defense is stinking, lots of fun to watch.

On the contrary, this is a rough watch IMO... nobody even seems to be trying to stop anyone. Guys just catching uncontested passes with nobody anywhere near them. Brutal.

If we hadn't suffered through the level of QB play we have this year I might care more about how little these defenses are doing, but we deserve a shootout or two to help make up for it.

I mean come on. That is an absolutely embarrassing scoring play. Two guys have him and they don't even touch him or disrupt his ability to throw. Just hit the showers at this point.
