I've had a hell of a time trying to withdraw money from my RESP at Questrade.

Great Plains will fix it for you. Last time I checked it was maybe $10 to get a patch resewn.

Just sew it back on, how hard could it be? Hotels give out those little sewing kits all the time, they wouldnt hand those out to just anyone if it was difficult.

Bought a condo to avoid shovelling snow.

Took two jobs where I have to shovel snow.

At least you are no longer doing it for free.

Costco update - today was one of the easiest Costco shopping days I’ve ever had for a weekend. It was about as busy as a typical week night (didn’t hit the liquor store, that was a zoo) and even at the tills I went to the far end and there was only 1 person in line. Even had time to hit a sample booth with no wait

Technically, it’s part of the condo fees, so he could have enjoyed the shovel-free life with the house if he just ponied up for the service in Calgary.

7:45 PM is the best time to Costco. Most of the rush is done and by the time you have finished shopping it has dwindled to barely anyone at the tills but they have all staff hands on deck to get people out of the store for close

Early in the morn or late a night are the best times

Family travel for Christmas… Santa found us and gave us multi-day flu complete with fevers/chills, headaches, and a light cold. Have to leave the room to forage for food at some point. Have to cancel on a family Christmas dinner I think. This sucks.

Just go for a dip in your vault of money...that usually perks people up!

Seriously though, sorry for your luck, getting sick at this time of year sucks. You're supposed to be with friends and family, you're already off work so no excuses there...you're supposed to get sick when you can tell your boss that you have the Plague and cant make it to work.

Brutal dude. Sounds like what my family has. All of our Christmas plans have changed. I’ve never been so sick in my life. Literally in bed for 5 straight days. Finally the fever and chills are gone, but still minimal appetite and energy and I’m coughing up bits of blood in the mornings. Hope yall heal quickly!

Yikes! Sounds very similar here with the fevers and chills. Bad coughing but no blood. Kids throat extremely painful. Headache has been the worst and nothing touches it. Reminds me of my bad headache with 2nd Covid experience.

Hey misery loves company so get the sick people together…and watch tv as we all take turns coughing and catnapping.

Have been attempting to sleep since 9pm last night and “awoke” at about 9am. My watch says I slept about 6 hours, have a very low sleep score, and an HRV of 28. So quite nasty.

Yes that monster vault of money eh? Haha.
I agree with generally reserving sick time for office days! Sadly I can’t plan that well so here we are…

It’s true that buying something new perks you up for a bit but it’s a short term psychological thing only before you return to regular programming. That said I do need to sell a bunch of stuff on Kijiji/Marketplace.

The headache was insane. 3 of those bed days were solely due to excruciating headache. Like you said, meds won’t do #### for it. I’m a full 7 days into when I first caught it, and my lungs and sinuses finally feel like they’re clearing. The coughing it rough though, and I’ve clearly done some damage to something from it. I can hear/feel that glorious clicking in my sinuses from them finally opening a bit ( I love that feeling ), so I’m hopeful we’re almost done here.

Who the #### tries to block the checkout counter line by standing in the middle of the entrance for the checkout at Canadian Tire? I don't give a #### that you're trying to hold the spot for somebody that you are waiting for or if you're just stupid to stop right in that spot. Then to get mad that people are just walking past you to get around your fat donkey ass.

Eat #### you ####. You might also want to stop injecting your face and lips with grapefruits and silicone. It's not working, the wall already won two decades ago.

Somebody at Canadian Tire is standing in the middle of the entrance and blocking check outs? Did they rearrange the stores or do you mean they’re blocking the customer service counter?

Well Canadian Tire 'Customer Service' is useless anyways so that would be no big loss.
