It's pretty close but I might have to give a slight edge to the 80s, just more all time classics

90's I fukcing love the Fifth Element.
I wish there was a way to explore more of that world.
Aliens was amazing and kick ass, but the Fifth Element is in my Top 10 movies easy

Philistine! The original trilogy holds up great.

Saw the new Running Man and was generally whelmed. I didn't like the pacing, acting, or really feel like anything meaningful was added to warrant the remake. Lots of potential, and I really like Edgar Wright, so I had decently high expectations going in. I would say worth the watch based on the premise of Running Man alone, but if you're a fan of the original it will probably be a let down. 5.5/10

I don't totally disagree with this take, but I thought it was much more faithful to the original material than the 80's one, so that was cool. I was also pretty entertained throughout, especially during the Michael Cera segment. I'd give it a 7/10. Still a fun movie especially when there aren't a lot of really fun movies out there purely for entertainment purposes.

A New Hope is one of the most technically perfect movies ever. The other too are okay but nothing special.

Watched the new, Now you see me. Now you dont.
I really think they are just trying too hard in this one to appease a different/younger demographic and it felt disjointed and lacking any cohesion.
4/10 at best.

Any one that claims they grew out of the original star wars trilogy definitely still has a box or chest of star wars merch/toys stowed away that they'll never relinquish.
You can tell yourself that but it doesnt make it any more true, especially if it was a core part of your childhood. Like don't pretend like you wouldn't perk up like a prairie dog if you heard a lightsaber ignite.
ESB is all-time great cinema.
