I can't tie anything together to be concrete at this moment but I got different sources talking lots of smoke around the flames right now. Could be related to comments made by Ras on Saturday, maybe just the messaging is clear from the player creating a "bullish market".

Coleman's preference window is opening shortly if the Flames are going to make a move but Still haven't heard anything other then teams are waiting to get a greenlight, retention is on the table for Coleman and players with term for a price. All 10 of his pre approved teams have already been informed. I personally don't see the flames moving him this season but TEAMS are willing to pay to acquire him.

Flames are scouting a few younger players in the league heavily right now maybe a hockey trade incoming. Flames would like to get a extra pick in this years draft in the first round and its currency.

I can't crack the walls around Kadri unfortunately, only thing I've been told is Kadri has made it known to the flames of what his "options" are and as of now its non negotiable.

Always appreciated good sir.

No player is ever going to sign up for Mission McKenna. It may just happen organically once guys are moved out

Especailly the players who could potentially lose their spot to him or whoever they ended up drafting.

My guess for Kadri options is he wants to stay in Canada. As for Coleman it’s time to give the green light. We got to many wingers as is , with a couple down on farm chomping at the bit. Also popisil is due back in a month.

Still feel jets need to make a decent splash to get ahead in the playoff race.

Kadri to jets if Canada is a thing.

Listening to Iggy talk, and Maloney, and Conroy’s earlier chats…I’ll be genuinely surprised if the Flames do anything more than a hockey trade focused on bringing in a younger player in an Andersson trade.

They’ve said it all along - they have zero desire to draft at the top.

A surprise would be nice, but I don’t think it’s in the cards.

Interesting bit in there about retention being available for players with term (Coleman & Kadri). Kadri with retention would bring back a great return to the Flames. He is a strong #2C right now and at $3.5M there is very little risk of him becoming a hinderance to any team's cap structure by the end of his contract.

Coleman with retention would also fetch a strong return.

Andersson as a rental should be good and with an extension the return should be exceptional.

There is a lot of opportunity depending on who gives a green light to what option.

A hockey trade would be a surprise at this point unless you mean something like almost every other trade Conroy has done. Futures + a roster player with some okay upside.

Pls stop man. They’ve literally said the opposite and we don’t need to perpetuate this nonsense every time the conversation shifts to something else.

Huh, iggy said team needs vets for leadership but also is on board with Conroy's plan to build through the draft. Which i agree, look at Buffalo and Edmonton for a while no leadership just handed the reigns to young 18 year old top draft picks. Doesnt always work.

If we get involved with Buffalo, it'd be pretty exciting to see Power involved - not sure what that would take, but there are some rumours out there that Power could be available - and he'd be a hell of a fit.

Power
Bahl
Kuznetsov

That's a nice looking LHD.

Is there a quote where they said they want to draft at the top? Pepsi said they've said that they do want to draft at the top.

Is there a quote?
