If Allen is/was healthy I still would not rule out Bills SB appearance, but looked really limited against Cleveland. If the Colts cooperate, and lose (meaning several teams clinch), we may see Allen ruled out for next week. Though with that likely last game at highmark probably no way he doesn't play. We see

While the AFC field is pretty much set (sorry Colts), the seeding really isn't other than Pittsburgh. In fact, everyone else has a path to the #1 seed, including Buffalo. Week 18 is a better rest spot cause they should still be able to beat the Jets with their backups.

It's only 10 and he's getting 5 more years of paid medical benefits for what will amount to about 70 grand in wages this year.
As a fat old guy myself ...you're god damned right I want to see Rivers light it up. Even though I hated him as a Charger and I still hold a massive grudge against the Colts.

Pretty damning indictment of the level of QB play we see now that Rivers can walk right in and be a top 10-ish QB simply by being able to read defenses and make the right checks and protection shifts. Doesn't even matter that he has a noodle arm, he knows exactly how to play the position at the level required.

Yeah every time Rivers got them back in it, the Colts D would quickly squander it. Good thing they traded two 1st round picks this year to help solidify their D..
Both teams who made big splashes this season by trading two 1sts for a defensive playmaker, both have said playmaker injured for the stretch run...I wonder if it'll give teams pause (outside of QB) for making risky splash moves that mortgage your future like that.
