Confusing for sure but in the most round about way, i think they landed on the right decision.
It should not have been ruled a TD to begin with...forward progress had clearly been stopped and it was short of the end zone. The toss to Goff should have been irrelevant at that point. Game over.
What I think they ruled, and incorrectly, was that a penalty to the offensive team cannot result in another down for them. Pittsburgh would have had to accept the PI only because it was ruled a TD...otherwise it would be declined....and again, game over. But because it was an accepted penalty rthere technically should have been another down played.
Pretty big screw up... but truly. and probably accidently, the right result.

Pats win tonight and a Niners win tomorrow night and the playoff field is basically set, save the NFC South.

That fake punt was curiously desperate by Vrabel. Cause yeah it's Tyler Huntley, not MVP level Lamar back there.

As a Bills fan I'm shocked they found a way into the playoffs they are very unpredictable and inconsistent. Can't see them winning much in the playoffs to be honest.

Too bad Drake isn't around anymore...he's probably attacked a few innocents with the Ravens sucking unwiped arse this year. Looks good on that team.

Exactly my thoughts regarding the AFC playoffs: no Mahomes, no Lamar, no Burrow. If the Bills can't get to the Super Bowl this year, IMO it's never happening.

Hey that's what I said last week! Jackson and the Ravens haven't been a problem...but no Burrow or Mahomes seems to open things up. Will the likes of Maye or the new Prince of the forest Trevor Lawrence get in his way?
Pretty unpredictable season. I mean right now I think anyone would have the Saints as like a 3 point favorite over K.C. if they were to play each other. At the start of the season that would have been thought impossible. I'll enjoy rooting for more chaos in the playoffs.
