That's a hell of a throw in this wind by Willis. Doubs can must have used that guardian cap as a sail on that route.

Still think you need a kicker with a bigger leg in todays game, but Santos is a quality wind kicker which will be important as long as they are the Chicago Bears. Once they are the Gary Bears and playing in a dome, not so much.

Were the Bears instructed to go head hunting tonight?

Holy crap.

I know not great conditions and you need the kick to stay alive, but not getting that done before the two minute warning is poor clock management.

And yet it works out with a Packers botch on the onside kick. Shades of the NFC title game there.

I thought Ben Johnson said for sure they're going for two.

Tie is good for the Bears though. loss likely sends them on the path to elimination.

I think kicking the convert was probably the right call with the Packers having three timeouts. If they had no timeouts, definitely go for two.

Looking at the NFL tie breaking procedures, it seems the NFL considers two ties to be just as good as a win and a loss.

I might be wrong about that and if so, can someone correct me.

Crazy to think Willis rookie deal is just expiring this year. He'll probably get himself a look in FA off this performance, he's looked genuinely good and not scale graded good.

Bears can probably run the clock out here either way, Packers might have to gamble.

Edit: Choke complete. Embarrassing loss.

Big night for the Lions, winning the division is back in play with this result. Packers and Bears lose next week and they win out and it's done.

The better outcome for the Lions was a GB win

What a collapse by the Packers. I think they can kiss the playoffs goodbye. Congrats Lions fans.

In what way lol. Packers have the tiebreaker locked up over the Lions. The Lions needed them to lose twice to have a chance and now they got one of the losses. Tie would have been a disaster for the Lions.

Technically this Bears win keeps a scenario in play where the Lions don't control their playoff destiny (Bears beat SF and Packers win out). But we all know that's not actually gonna happen.

A Packers win would have put the Lions' playoff destiny entirely in their hands. But realistically, it already is. Packers are in trouble.
