Everything is peachy because they just beat a team after going 3/4 on the PP with a long 5 on 3, but after 2 games Jarry is rocking a 3.50GAA and a .879SV%.
That's a downgrade from Skinner's 2.83GAA and .891SV%.

That is good enough for sixth-last among all NHL players this season.

Good thing they have a proven backup like Pickard. We all know what he is capable of. Their AHL guys don't leave many questions either.

With what assets?? They’d probably have to burn a first and then one of Howard/Savoie/Hutson. Also with the new LTIR rules if Jarry is back for playoffs they have to be cap compliant so they’d need to lose $5mil, assuming they bring in another $5mil goalie.

Look at the package it took them to get Jarry, they can't afford another goalie - at least not one that's any better than Jarry or Skinner...or probably Pickard.

While it sucks for Jarry, it would be kind of amusing if the goalie they went in on for this run cant even stay healthy while also having term left.
And honestly there should be some form of karma for how Skinner was treated and ultimately chased out of town.
