I wonder which draft eligible prospect will look the best at this world juniors. Schaefer basically locked up first overall in his abbreviated world juniors last year.

Sweden has an NHL prospect-heavy roster. 16 draft picks, plus a few projected picks in '26
at least 13 players drafted in the first 2 rounds or projected top picks in '26

What is the last day before rosters need to be made official? Is Dickinson still an option? Anyone else a realistic possibility from the NHL? Saw a tweet speculating about Catton, despite his injury

I mean you're not wrong, but given that it's a pre-tournament game we'll probably see both teams playing around with different line combos and the studs might not get as much ice time as expected. I would assume the Mckenna vs Stenberg show won't truly happen until they play each other in the actual tournament... I could be wrong of course, I can admit I am wrong alot of the time!

Sharks and Kraken haven't said Yes or No to Hockey Canada's request to have Dickinson or Catton respectively.
So yes they are still options for Canada. Final roster is due Christmas day IIRC.
