I have to agree with Macho. Toronto doesn't have assets, so the only path is added value.
Sharongovich hasn't worked out, and has four more years after this one. Macelli and 2028 1st (top three protected) for Ras and Sharon with no retention might be an underrated trade.
But that doesn't mean that four other teams couldn't make a much better offer.
I think that Tre is pipe dreaming.

Either way I'm glad it's in the news cycle right now. Can't hurt to get real buyers involved if the Toronto media machine is pushing it around.

No interest in Macelli.
I would take Nick Robertson over him.
Robertson+2028 1st+Danford.

Leafs have been trying to include Robertson in a trade for seemingly months, he's not worth anything. He's a throw in depth piece at this point and definitely nothing we need.
CGY wants starpower/picks/A+ prospects which the Leafs have no interest in trading, which means the two aren't dance partners.

Tre: I mean I'd ask for Robertson as part of the deal, why won't anyone take him.

Sharks put forth an offer today on Andersson. It's contingent on a sign and trade as they don't want a rental for what they are trying to do.
EDIT: Not saying it will go through for sure. Saying they have made an offer and there has been dialogue.

That would be a great fit for Andersson. I could continue cheering for him! And they have lots of assets.

Oilfan is credible when it comes to Sharks rumors so that's exciting.
Intriguing pieces: Filip Bystedt, Igor Chernyshov, Leo Sahlin Wallenius, Quinton Musty, Cole McKinney.
They also have two first rouners in 2026 (their own and Edmontons), and two seconds.
Let's go!

Out of thanks, but thanks! This is very interesting news. I think that could be an excellent fit for both teams.
EDIT: The Edmonton 1st would be a nice asset. Drafting a good player with your archrival’s first-round pick? That would be a great story for years!

Really hope Chernyshov is in that package and Ras decides he likes the sun.

I would add Luca Cagnoni to that list. Sharks would be a terrific trade partner for the Flames

Sharks were the team I most hoped would be aggressive.
If Andersson is serious about winning over the course of the next 8 years, and not just focused on winning this season, then San Jose should be a place he's willing to extend.
Also has generally been talked about a very favorable market for players forever with guys like Marleau and Thornton loving it there.

Were they impressed with his 30.53 xGF% last night?

Oh man, take Chernyshov and a 1st from SJ.
Gridin, Coronato, Chernyshov would be a lethal shot on every line!

Sign and trade contingency too so would be a good return you'd imagine. Come on Anderson say yes lol.
