If you're watching the finale live it appears that Trumps address to the nation will delay the episode by roughly half an hour as CBS will be cutting to it.

I'm very relieved that Savannah won, was worried she wouldn't get the votes after Kristina put her on the spot with that question.

IMO that was terrible down the stretch...winner has been obvious for a while because they all worked together to hand her the win
skipped through most of that because I've known it was either Savannah or Rizo since November.

Soph you moron, she was the one person that had a shot but wouldn't make a move until setting up the million dollar fire challenge. (SMRT)

My boy Rizzo couldn't make a fire, ouch. Savannah deserved to win, she wasn't some amazing player but being a beast in challenges has to count for something.

Season 50 looks interesting. Just glad they didn't bring back Boston Rob one more time.

What a bore of a season, just way too predictable. It was a bad call to announce that Rizo and Savannah were on 50, as it was obvious one of them would win. Then a few episodes in Savannah was getting the winners edit, and you knew she was the easy winner.

That being said Savannah deserved the win, but they always threatened to target the pair, but it never happened. Sage hated Savannah from day one, yet she was fine sitting next to her at the end. Too many players talk a big game, but do absolutely nothing other than talk. Sage and Soph didn't make any big moves, and coasted. They didn't deserve any votes, but the emotional haters threw a couple their way.

What was up with Kristina asking Savannah if she knew the names of any of the jury's family members? What a pompous question to ask. People like that should not be on the show. A complete waste of spot for someone who literally adds nothing to the show.

To be fair Survivor/CBS never actually announced Rizo and Savannah would be on, “insiders” not affiliated with the show announced it then word spread like wildfire. Even Rizo and Savannah never publicly said they were on 50 (definitely contractual reasons) until now.

Apparently Maryanne and Andy were the last two cut for these two, I’m happy it’s Savannah over Maryanne but I would’ve preferred Andy over Rizo. Rizos act seemed fake all the time and it seemed like he was playing for a spot on 50 rather than to win.

Still upset half the cast is from the new era and wish there was a lot more old schoolers on it, but seeing old Jenna, Colby, Coach and Stephenie was cool in the trailer. Absolutely hate this celebrity twist where were going to see Mr Beast, Jimmy Fallon, Zac Brown and Billie Eilish in some capacity but hopefully it’s nothing crazy

As for 49 the right person won and I’m glad they went back to the old FTC format, but really hoping the show doesn’t follow this “new era” stuff in 51 onwards

As has been typical for recent seasons, first half sucked, second half was OK.

Savannah was a deserving winner this season. But not a great winner overall, maybe mid tier at best.

Kristina's question to her was awful. One more example of others being kind of mean to the supposed "mean girl", though Savannah never appeared mean spirited towards anyone and was always pretty self aware of herself. Sage was nothing but off-putting all season long, and Savannah was nothing but kind to her up to and including that final reward inclusion.

Rizzo was fun to watch, regardless. Glad he's on 50 and the rest of the cast won't have a clue how he plays which will be extra fun.
