Before I continue watching, when you say it's graphic, is there blood or broken bones sticking out, or what?

Nah just a crazy fall
It was pretty insane though. Shocked to see him get up after that

Does a really good job to minimize the impact, twisting and pushing off the angled ramp with his feel and then taking the rest of it on his ass and back. Still, must have hurt like hell.

Was watching live when it happened, and I had to look away. It's amazing that he got up, let alone walked off pretty much under his own power.

NO but it is a scary/sickening fall that is likely to make your heart jump into your throat everytime you see it.
I repeat he does end up walking away.

K, well that was okay. Usually I enjoy seeing skateboarders wipe out cause that mostly means they've bagged themselves. That was pretty scary though.

Just saw on X-Center that he's still in the hospital with a concussion, bruised lung, and bruised liver. It's amazing that more didn't happen.

Ouch. It's a darn good thing he landed like he did. Woulda been ugly had he landed flatfooted or put his arm out to break the fall.

well after years of falling, these guys have learned how to fall to minimize the damage. still.. a 40 foot free fall to flat would be a rarity.

Im surprised they let him walk away. Pretty standard procedure these days to put a neck collar on and put you on a spine board. He could be fine but you could have bone fragments floating around your spine or cracked vertabrae and end up paralyzed well after the accident.

Jake Brown rips. He was one of the first guys to do the "loop," along with Tony Hawk and Bob Burnquist, and when Danny Way and DC first unveiled the SuperRamp, and that vert madness began (similar to what's in this video), he was also one of the first guys to drop in on it. The guy has huge balls.

I see Jason Ellis trying to the grab all the attention. Is he a decent skater? I enjoy listening to him on Faction.

On first view, I thought he planted right on his hip / pelvis / butt and I thought he would have completely scrambled his pelvic area. Unbelievable the guy moved afterwards let alone got the frick up and walked away. The other harsh thing was the whole lifetime he had after the skateboard left the party before he reached bottom. I can imagine the play-by-play in my head the whole 3 seconds on the way down. it would not be pretty. There would not be many happy thoughts.
