They just drafted the wrong guys
Byfield hasn’t turned into the player they needed him to be
Clarke isn’t reliable
Turcotte is a bust
Too many misses with critical picks

It’s hard to hate the compete level this team plays at—even though most of us support “the tank” occurring, one way or another…
But the reality is that they play a decent style, overall, and they’re mostly fun to watch…
Their biggest flaw is their powerplay, a problem I just don’t get, given the available talent for PP1…(who’s in charge of the PP, btw…?)
Anyway. Nice to see a win for the Dads.

4-5 years ago this site was all over how LA was doing it right and look at all their young talent. They had multiple first and second round picks, including 2OA and 5OA in two consecutive years.

True, but they dealt young assets for Fiala when they should have been accumulating bullets for the chamber. Thankfully they weren’t managed with a vision for the future. No need to worry about them.
