Default December 12, just two games.

It is the calm in between two storms of games The Friday OOT
is a quiet and simple one with both games having western
conference teams playing, three teams from the Central Division.

Random schedule info: St. Louis is playing their 5th game in 7 days tonight. Only happens 12 times this season (11 different teams).

Man, I thought the Hawks were ready to take a step forward this year, and make a push for a playoff spot. But (other than Bedard and Knight) they still stink.

The Kraken scored in the second period to take a 1-0 lead. Schmaltz and the Yamamoto experience have scored for the Mammoth to take a 2-1 lead after forty minutes.

Doesn't look good at all. I'm guessing he won't be available for Team Canada. Don't quote me on that but yikes, that looks serious.

Faceoff with 0.8 seconds left… just brutal. Schenn basically attacked him instead of playing the puck off the faceoff.

Here is a very good view of Bedards injury. Looks like he was hurt before Schenn cross checked him. The injury came when his stick was swept up off the face off

Somewhat reminiscent of when Gio torn his bicep. Just a freak accident. Hopefully will be available for the olympics

The Mammoth beat the Kraken 5-3 by being perfect on the PK (4/4) and good goaltending by Vejmelka.

They went from bottom feeder to bubble playoff team.

That's a very good jump.

They had a hot start. That doesn't make them a bubble playoff team. They're now basically a .500 team and just lost their franchise player (they relied upon him to generate most of their offense) for who knows how long. They're cooked.
