Hockey fans, our hearts are heavy this morning as we extended all of our prayers, thoughts and best wishes to the Athabasca Rivermen Junior A Hockey Club and their families.. This morning the team was involved in a bus accident with some serious injuries while on their way to the Pass. As a hockey community, we are all thinking of you and encourage all our Crush fans from near and far to light up the Pass in support and have those sticks out.

Both games this weekend have been cancelled and will be rescheduled TBD.

Two teens were taken to a hospital in Edmonton with injuries described as not life threatening. Others reported minor injuries or soreness and were treated at the scene on Highway 2, according to Mounties, who said the driver of their coach bus lost control and entered the ditch.
