Reminds me of Sokolov, who was the russian admiral who was killed in Ukraine but the Russians pretended he was alive, wheeled out his corpse and after a few minutes of footage no one has seen him since. I swear the day Trump croaks, that dumb bimbo is going to pull the Sokolov card and claim he's still alive and well.

Oh yeah also the justice dept failed a second time to get a grand jury to indict Letitia James on their actual witch hunt and weaponization of the justice dept with the make believe charges of mortgage fraud. It's insane to think we went from a federal indictment equaling like a 95% conviction chance to "ehhh maybe try this crap? No? Make something else up"

Need a three strikes law where if they try to indict you three times and fail you get to engage in the Purge going forward.

His roast of Trump in that monologue was really good.

Republicans, federal, announce the entire state of Indiana will be defunded if they do not obey Trump by gerrymandering their state. “Roads will not be paved. Guard bases will close. Major projects will stop.”

Going
Indiana voted against the gerrymander 31 - 19 (its a 40 R - 10 D House in Indiana)

Lets see if trump chickens out on his threat...

Maybe it's a hideous bruise from an injection site for medication meant to slow the rapidly advancing onset of mental decline that is permitting and enabling an evil man and his sycophants to dismantle the fundamental tenets of democracy and eliminate human rights while simultaneously protecting pedophiles and insurrectionists and cause suffering and death across the globe and within their own borders as the country attempts a speed run at fascism even with what the Nazi's would call aggressive.

Maybe it's Maybelline.

This is unbelievable
This is what he is going to try with every vote that goes against him now
Why isn’t anyone doing anything?

Republican heavy house voted against this. This is doing something. His own party is going to have to stop him, probably. And it appears as though they are maybe starting to?

Sounds like there are also a small handful of Republicans that are seriously questioning the whole Venezuela thing, and Hagseth using the military as his personal toy to blow up random boats in the Caribbean.

There was at least one R that was super mad about trump using the r word the other day, something to do with his daughter.
Then a few of the Rs that came out and said they didnt like doing the early redistricting were swatted by magats.
They grew some spines...maybe...

The map they voted down would make it 9-0 districts as opposed to what they have which is 7-2.

If it's going to start, it has to start somewhere.
One can hope. Maybe

This is an interesting article that goes into why they might not want redistricting.

https://www.natesilver.net/p/sbsq-27...ing-backfiring

Basically, some Republicans realized that pushing super-aggressive redistricting can actually make their seats riskier, not safer, especially if there’s a bad election year. Add in voter backlash and the likelihood Democrats will retaliate elsewhere, and the power grab starts to look like more trouble than it’s worth. Gerrymandering also causes incumbents to now have to campaign in unfamiliar areas and maybe lose a bit of incumbent advantage.

Was exploring the difference in how media covers trump vs anyone else and found the Associated Press talking about approval ratings.

Biden in 2022 got this -- 'Biden's 41% approval figures have barely moved for the past year and a half, a source of concern for the president'

Trump right now gets this -- 'The good news for Trump is that his overall approval hasn't fallen as steeply. The new poll found that 36% of Americans approve of the way he's handling his job as president, which is down slightly from 42% in March.'

I'm not sure how concluding 36% of your population has serious brain damage is good news, but I guess it's all relative.

Lol at the "down slightly" part. In a normal world, dropping from 42 down to 36 would be very bad news for any other president in history.

Pentagon Unveils New GenAI Platform, It Immediately Starts Flagging Pete Hegseth’s War Crimes

An#artificial intelligence#chatbot unveiled by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday appears to have described airstrikes against suspected drug smugglers at sea as “unambiguously illegal.” The platform, powered by Google Gemini, has been made available to military personnel as part of the Pentagon’s effort to adopt AI.
