My Wife and I at this place when we were there 4 months ago.

It is Just off strip and was excellent and decently priced vs the place on the Strip. Generally on strip restaurant's are underwhelming. Other than Delilah at Wynn.. Which was was fantastic and great experience.

The problem with most restaurants in casinos on the strip is that smoking is allowed.

Paris smells like an ashtray.

Took my kids to Euro Disney years ago. Same as Anaheim, except everyone was smoking around the kids.

I've never taken the time to look into it but are the regulations around smoking different in Europe than here? In the UK I was in a group of 10 people after work and 7 of them lit up, you would never see that here!

As for restaurants, I'm a sucker for the nachos at Margaritaville, but might not be your 78 yo mom's vibe.

Maybe it was a singular bad experience but I'll never go back to Margaritaville. It was expensive and the mediocre yet over-priced food went through me like a Japanese bullet-train.

Not a fun way to start your evening.

The Arts District between the Strip and Freemont is the place to be, IMO. It reminds of Portland of yesteryear. Lots of great breweries, restaurants, coffee shops and brunch places. I killed a full afternoon, just a couple weeks ago, just wandering around checking out the shops and whatnot. It was great, and much better pricing and quality than the major stops.

Thanks for this recommendation. Had a good dinner at Main Street Provisions, and like the vibe of that area. Then did a quick drive through the strip, which was good enough for everyone.

We were there 2 months before that, dang! It was pretty slow in there if I recall but it was January so I thought that was the problem.

Vegas is pretty much dead last on my list of go to destinations now, they've completely lost the plot.

Same if I don't ever go back it's not a huge loss. I went to Vegas for a hockey game last year. Fun city to experience for the first time but I nearly had a stroke after ordering one Rum & Coke at OMNIA. I wasnt mentally prepared for the $50 usd bill.

Atomic Golf which is similar to Top Golf or LaunchPad like we have in Calgary offers $50 all inclusive golf, food and drinks (beer, coolers, wine) for 2 hours per person.

Definitely a steal if you're into that kinda thing.

Last time I went to Top Golf in Vegas it was $120 for 2 hours no drinks/food included.

Do the strip hotels still have that $35/night extra fee? I haven't been in years but I thought they got rid of it after covid
