I think he's a surefire nhler. Was great in his first audition and one of the better players as camp went on.
Kid's a really intelligent player who has the tools to excel in different facets of the game. Hasn't yet translated the offensive side of his game yet but the potential is there.

There was a guy on Sportsnet radio this morning outlining how poorly the Canucks draft and develop. It would be great to see Brz develop into one of the very few NHLers that they draft.

Thought this deserved a bump. I think he absolutely deserves a long run this time up. He’s another one of those guys who plays better with better players.

He looked terrific as the game went on and clearly the coaching staff was trusting of him in the O zone with his ability to skate, hold the line and get the puck to the net.

Also if he keeps 48, and with that last name, thats full value if you get his jersey. Even more so if out of the blue he gets an A on the front.

He looked great to me against the Wings. Pretty pumped about this kid.

Having Kuznetsov jump in and almost immediately step into a top 4 Dman role is giving me hope that the Flames will start to become an NHL defenseman factory. Hopefully Bru is next and then after the WJC Parekh follows along. Impressed with how ready Kuz and Bru look, although still very early for Bru.

What I noticed last year in the game he played at the end and in this game is that he is such an effective passer; it seems like he hits tape to tape no matter where he is on the ice. Also, they were passes that were smart plays to either start a rush, keep the puck in, or get it to someone who was ready to keep the play alive. 2-game sample size, but he does seem like he is ready for more.

Can't believe we got this guy for a few games of the "pouty" version of Elias Lindholm. Pretty damn good trade if you ask me.
