Its surprising they didnt recycle a coach, Miller seemed to get a lot out of his QBs though.

Yesterday, the Stamps signed Shaq Davis, a 25 year old big receiver (6"5" and 215 lbs) who has been with a few NFL teams, but did not see the field for any game action.

Speaking of receivers, the Als today made Tyson Philpot the highest paid Canadian receiver in the CFL (he's signed through 2027).

I think hope Alford will end up back in Calgary like Reggie did.

Argos probably offered him $$$. I don't know how much input he was having with the Stamps in recent seasons so I'm not sure how big of a loss this is.

He was more of a consultant and a sounding board for DD.

No surprise, he had a fantastic 2025 for the Leos...
The B.C. Lions have signed CFL all-star receiver Keon Hatcher Sr. to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season.

Offensive lineman Bryce Bell has re-signed with the Stamps. Missed most of last season with an injury (think he was injured in game 2), but it provided the opportunity for the Stamps to see what they had in 2025 draft pick Christopher Fortin and Fortin by all accounts had an excellent year.

Stamps re-sign Clark Barnes.
https://www.stampeders.com/2025/12/0...s-staying-put/
Quote:
“Clark has made steady progress over the course of his young career and is a dangerous deep threat for our offence,” said Stampeders general manager and head coach Dave Dickenson. “With three seasons of experience under his belt, we look forward to continued development and to see him to raise his play to an even higher level in 2026.”
Barnes expressed his pleasure to be remaining in Calgary, particularly with the Grey Cup game being played at McMahon Stadium in 2026.
“I’m glad to be back and I’m looking forward to the season,” said Barnes. “Let’s go win this thing at home this year.”

Like it, hopefully Clark Barnes can stay healthy because he's a real difference maker for the Stamps.

Good news regarding Smilin' Hank...
Henry Burris has been named the acting head coach at Florida A&M University after the firing of James Colzie III.
The 50-year-old native of Spiro, Okla. joined the school’s coaching staff in 2024 as quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator. His son, Armand, is a redshirt freshman receiver who caught 17 passes for 222 yards and two touchdown in 2025.
