I think Tij is going to have a monster tournament. Sadly, that will further put any hope of trading for him out of reach.

It’s already out of reach
Literally zero conversation about him being available

The Lindstrom pick though is looking like another CBJ blunder.

Yeah. I really wanted Lindstrom for the flames in that draft but it looks like the injuries may have derailed his development. Hope the kid can find his game and get back on track though. Looked like such a beast of a center in his draft year until his back was injured.

Lindstrom a played 11 of 16 games, 3 points. I suspect he's buried and being nursed into game shape.
Pumped for Reschny. I think he makes the team. He's got all the makings of the perfect 200ft player TC desires.

I wonder if McKenna ends up playing on Reschny's line again. That will make us Flames' fans drool, right?

Yes please! He was the best fit for McKenna at the Hlinka tournament.

Doubt it. Top line is going to be Mckenna - Misa - Martone

How many times does the whole Big = Good theory end this way, McQueen could be the same. It will never stop.

My understanding is that he has not been the same player since his back injury. I agree his size played a factor in him going so high in the draft though. His speed, size and skill looked fantastic until that injury. Many thought he would have gone 2nd overall if not for the risk that his injury could permanently derail his development. Not sure if that is why he has struggled since being drafted but it’s possible. I agree though that teams seem to give the benefit of the doubt to big centers with average skill (eg. McQueen) over highly skilled centers with slightly below average size (eg. Reschny).

Lindstrom may or may not end up being really good still. That's a LONG time out of the game during important developmental years, however. Hopefully he stays healthy. Columbus is a team that I do hope finds some success in the league, and Lindstrom is an interesting story to follow.

Is Parekh still available to join this list? Or is he not likely to play due to his injury?
