I doubt that Conroy is being offered or has ever been offered a true blue chip prospect and said “no, I would prefer volume over one asset”

Yeah if an offer like that had been made the deal would be done

No, I'm assuming that Conroy's current marching orders are still to try and re-sign Andersson. I really don't believe that permission has been given to trade him yet.

That doesn’t jive with what we’ve heard which has included a done deal with LA that Rasmus wouldn’t waive for and a potential deal with Vegas where Hague wouldn’t waive to come here
It’s pretty clear he is on the market

The only thing I've heard is that there are no offers on the table for Andersson, and that the Flames have been very quiet on trade talks in general.
Granted, I haven't kept up to date every day... and now that I think about it, I haven't looked into it since the start of the whole Maloney thing (two weeks ago?). It's super possible I'm in my own little world again lol.
(Rergardless, I was really just saying that no I don't think that Conny's been offered something like I suggested and turned it down. I'm just giving examples of the type of trade I would prefer to see vs the type of trades we've been doing. Focus on the best possible future asset vs a middling asset that helps us get a couple more wins right now and a weeker future asset.)

He looks like an actual NHL player again and is getting a lot of looks. Now if he can just get that shot right…

They really do need to pull the trigger right away if we want to avoid finishing just outside the playoffs again. It's great the players are playing well but I think everyone knows these wins are not good for the organization long term.
Oh well though.

Can someone get the Snek going?
I’ve been strongly on Team Tank, salivating at Gavin’s highlights. However, I can’t help but cheer for wins, and even a WC spot (as long as it’s not against COL) is enticing.
Why do the Flames always do this to us?
