So how can Disney+ itself be a financial burden? All it is is a holding place for all the content it owns.
So from an accounting level, you can definitely make a $200M movie, put it on Disney+ and call it a loss because you're not making public whether or not that movie pulled extra revenue solely by it's own. They can do that with basically everything they own and call it losses for tax purposes. Same with Apple. They don't make money from Apple+, they make it from their products. Amazon doesn't make money from it's original content, it makes money from it's online shopping memberships.

You're confusing things here. The profitability of an individual movie or series does not matter in terms of the profitability of a whole streaming service, even in accounting terms.
It also doesn't matter whether you spend money in original or licensed content, what matters is that you spend money.
Disney spent 24 billion on just streaming content last year.
Netflix spent 17 billion on content. That's a lot less. They have a lot more subscribers. That's why they make a lot more money.
(...and yeah can argue that Apple and Amazon don't need to worry about their streaming services not being profitable, but you can't argue that they make money.)

Watched Bugonia, which was alright. Interesting premise but saw the ending coming a mile away. Jesse Plemons put on an amazing performance and really carried the movie.
One Battle After Another, I was expecting more based on the hype, so felt underwhelmed for many parts. So many people raving about the so-called epic action scenes, but I didn't think it was that epic. Good story though and the best part was during the middle where it was like 40 mins of that piano song on repeat. It actually worked out well.
Both movies had a lot of hype and maybe it's just me, but I didn't think they were all that amazing as the reviews say. Good, but not great.

Rather than trying to get more meta and mind bending with it, can they just go back to learning kung fu and fighting agents?
You're never recreating the cultural/philosophical phenomenon of the first, so you may as well bring more of the goods that people enjoyed.
Start with retconning for 4th one altogether.
Or just don't make any more. That works too.

Yeah, I didnt get the hype either and I also didnt find the action or the acting all that compelling. It was pretty 'meh.' Maybe it was the expectation, I dont know, but that movie, while interesting, really didn't impress me.

Honestly cant remember, but Leo is no Rambo.
I thought the Political and Social implications of immigration were interesting topics that the film touched on but they were so ham-fisted as to be laughable and kind of corny.

Watched Nuremberg last week. The film follows U.S. Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) who seeks to carry out an assignment to investigate the personalities and monitor the mental status of Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) and other high-ranking Nazis in preparation for and during the Nuremberg trials. Both Russell Crowe and Rami Malek were great in their roles.

When did the film ever push that narrative?
Pretty sure it didn't mince messages in communicating that Leo's character was an incompetent deadbeat dad who wanted to be a hero but was always a step behind and getting in his own way when push came to shove because of his vices/drug use.

One Battle After Another - I don't find Teyana Taylor compelling as an actor at all, which killed a lot of the hype for me when her character was so integral to the plot line. Sean Penn on the other hand was amazing and kept me interested.

I think both Teyana Taylor and Sean Penn were playing roles that could verge onto the side of hammy and annoying, so it was a tight rope to walk.
It was almost a 2 part series over 1 single movie,
Moderate spoiler if you don't know much about this movie going in
Part 1 was OK, Part 2 was compelling, I would almost describe Leo's role as Magoo meets Ethan Hunt and it was a fun ride.
