I live in the central north, and all my family lives in the central north, and I can imagine not getting a ride to the airport, the alternatives are just offensively expensive in contrast to what is 30 minutes of helping a family member out. also, 15 minutes of that is quality time talking about the travel together.

Having just done this I challenge your premise.

I had to take my mom and sister to the airport, they needed to be there by 5, so I fought rush hour, in a snow storm, for 2 hours there and back.

But hey, sometimes circumstances are different! Need to be at the airport by 7pm on a Thursday? No problem. But its never that. Its always the busiest possible time on the roads, in the City and at the airport.

Driving people to the airport is like my own personal hell.

lmao probably because a train is actually useful and Elon's bizarre tesla tunnel is absolutely useless. He convinced a couple dumb majors to invest public transit money into his snake oil tunnel thus diverting the money from actual quality public infrastructure. It's also a drug-addled dork trying to express... something, and it ended up being a dead ringer for a Nazi salute. There's a non-zero chance that that wasn't his intention, but if it wasn't he should have defended himself by claiming it was an accident and he wouldn't do that purposely. Instead he tried to play it off as something else, which made him look 100% guilty.
