Coleman to Tampa for their next 1st (UNPROTECTED) and a cap dump.
Draft McKenna and you have a solid core for the future.
Top wingers: McK, Coronato, Gridin, Huby
C: Lundell, Frost , (Reschny)
D: Bahl, Parekh, Bru, Weegs and Kuzy, along with Mews and Morin who still have potential.

Lundell has 2 less points than Kadri, in 2 less games. Plus he is signed long term under a great contract. He’s not being traded.

Oh I agree for sure. The team does need a young C, with at least Frost upside coming back in one of the Trades if Kadri is moved.

Interesting to see if guys like Lomberg, Cooley or others move

Why would they move Cooley?
I doubt anybody would overpay for him and he is a perfect back up for Wolf?

I doubt anyone is leaving this season minus Andersson. He’s the only one on an expiring contract. Maybe Lomberg too.
Next year might be more likely for Coleman.
I could see them trying to package out Sharangovich and Zary. I don’t think Kadri is going anywhere.

He is having a monster year so far and is a pending UFA. Does he want to stay and be Wolf’s backup or cash in on this great year?
If the Flames cannot keep him they should consider flipping him

I would assume Cooley will be like everyone else - if there is a substantial enough offer, they will move him. Long-term, Wolf is the goalie that Calgary will pick, even though at the moment, Cooley is the one that is having more success. It will be interesting if this continues - will be really reminiscent of the Halak vs Price timeline in Montreal. They made the right choice (which many people at the time disagreed with) and chose Price over Halak.
I hope that Cooley continues to do really well - maybe they sell him for a 1st! Imagine that. There seems to be a shortage of good goalies in the NHL right now, so I can definitely see Cooley being moved for a substantial return if he continues to exceed expectations like he has been. It is a great problem to have, and i think it helps push Wolf too.

I just don't think he will have a big enough track record to get a good return. And teams aren't going to pay much for a better back-up.
So I think the Flames end up being a valuable spot for him, and he's more valuable to the Flames than others.
I predict he re-signs before the season is done for a 2 year 1 way deal.

Maximize assets and don’t walk any UFA past the deadline.
Retain salary as much as possible and/or acquire bad short term contracts to get more picks.
If movement is agreed and the player is amenable to it, sign and trade.
In a perfect world, that’s rebiggling.
