It might be a bit controversial, but I think that Aho is a very slight downgrade on Barkov. Slavin(IR) is probably one of the 10 best D in the game. Rantanen would've been a great fit though, especially with Svechnikov, and Ehlers not putting up as many points this year.

Remember when Lindholm trolled the Carolina fans with the surge after a Flames win?

So much has changed.

Um, why are we sitting through yesterday's highlights? I didn't care about the Oilers game yesterday let alone today.

At worst they should alternate starts right now, not going back to Wolf after the team kind of left him out to dry too is not a good look IMO

Seems very short sighting and focused on winning a game right now instead of long term
You're surprised at the organization thinking about winning a game now rather than long term?

Its the NHL, if one goalie is .930 and the other is .890. the goalie with .930 will get more starts.

Or maybe they are thinking long term by giving Wilf a rest and getting him out of the shooting gallery.

With his great play this season and in particular the last few games, Cooley earned the start. Is it bad for the Flames to reward good play with ice time?

I’m going to say something out loud.

3 shots on goal after 30 minutes is not very good.

It's a defensive masterclass from both teams.

And at the beginning of the season there were people complaining Wolf was playing too much and they were going to burn him out. Now it's starting to even out.

Just turned it on. Stunned at the shot count, can’t be much entertainment value so far.

The Flames could win the cup and some posters would be immediately complaining about potential parade routes.
