Not that I'm against a cheap laugh, but if you're gonna go there go there purposefully. Going there just to go there is a hack move. Once, sure, but as a running joke for years? Meh.

You are all talking about him. He's a genius. I know your signaling is offended and it needs to be. Offending white losers in their homes because they think they are defending trans people is a masterpiece work. Like head in the box in Se7en type stuff.

Chappelle's overly focusing on the trans stuff, has made me less of a fan of his. At one point I would have immediately tuned into any netflix special or tried to get tickets to any of his live shows. I would have whole heartedly recommended him to others...now he's more......meh.
It's not genius. I'm not signaling to others. I'm not even offended. I just don't like it and don't find it funny.

Sad? Are you Trump or something, you nerd? I just like a guys comedy, that's it. You people who get offended for others are the worst. Fata I hate white people.
Simping? You black. Wanna talk about cred or 2 legit to quit.
I will simp (whatever that means) my ding dong all day at this concert. I hope he says just the worst stuff for you white guys get offended by.
Just say I hate black people being blacker than white people normally act. Put that in your sig buds.

What? I love Chappelle, I've just found his recent work disappointing because there's too much unfunny filler. None of it offended me, but it's like he had 4 specials worth of material and stretched it into 7.
Didn't you get offended by a flight attendant giving you a safety briefing?

And who here is actually offended? Chapelle punching down at the LGBT doesn't offend me personally, it just shows how lazy and hateful he's become. And whatever integrity he had was lost somewhere between his soul searching in Africa and paling around with Elon Musk on stage. He's a shallow husk of the guy he was 20 years ago

He's old and he's rich, isn't much interesting there anymore. This is a 52 year old man who goes to city council meetings speaking out against affordable housing developments. He's old and boring. When he made his comeback several years ago with Sticks & Stones I mildly enjoyed it, it was okay. The next one after was garbage and I haven't seen anything since that has drawn my attention.
And yeah lol, no one is offended.

Sigourney Weaver murdering illegal Aliens. Like really? Sister?

Whoa, now you’ve gone too far! I love Uma Thurman and her murdering people is completely fine.

His bit about the LGBTQ+ community in a car is legitimately funny.

The performer gets paid the same regardless of if 1 person shows up or if the entire arena sells out. Therefore, the promoter takes all the risk and therefore the seats are always available to be sold.
You may dislike him but he is one of the best to ever do it, if not the best. Yes, intimate shows are far better for stand up comedians. But, his popularity is undeniable and given the amount of seats sold thus far, this show is going to sell out.

lol. They’ve now “turned off” all 2nd bowl seats in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.
Or I guess you’re gonna still claim they all just magically sold out despite being 50% sold a week ago?
Tons of lower bowl available at each venue still.
Promoter must have realized it won’t make for much of an atmosphere if half the lower bowl is still empty come showtime. Half filled 2nd bowl is easier to deal with.

They'll move you down into some unsold seats in the lower bowl.
I went to a concert a few years ago where we bought seats in something like row 25 on the floor and when we scanned the ticket, they said we had to go to the ticket office. The woman at the ticket office checked and said "oh, they made changes to the layout and your seats don't exist anymore" and we were moved to somewhere around row 15 and were one of the last rows on the floor.
That show had really poor sales, and there was no one in the upper bowl and a lot of the lower bowl was empty too.

That’s great! I was just too cheap to pay for closer seats, so if I get to live down for free, I’m happy.
