Hilarious. So who does that leave for them? Doubtful the Preds would trade Saros - they are committed to him after moving on from Askarov. Plus what does Edmonton have to offer in trade that gets them anything of value in terms of goaltending? Suppose they might be able to make a lateral trade for a goalie like Merzlikins.

I wouldn't be surprised, why would you choose to go to Edmonton? They throw every goalie they have under the bus and never blame the team defense.
Did you know Skinner has 1 goal saved above expected this year, even with the historically bad numbers? That just shows how bad the Oilers are at team defense. They are getting league average goaltending from Skinner.

Honestly? I'm surprised Skinner hasn't 'blockered' one of, if not both, Nurse or Bouchard in the face.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

1. McKinnon 101 goals 295 points +86
2. Kucherov 92 goals 292 points +32
3. McDavid 68 goals 266 points +49
Why do people claim McDavid is the best player in hockey? He doesn't bring physical play, is brutal defensively, is a questionable leader, and his best attribute, his scoring, he is third best at and maybe being pushed further down the ladder by Celebrini and Bedard in the near future.
He should have cashed in when he had a chance. The two year extension is going to be an epic mistake.

I really do feel bad for Skinner. Regardless of whether you think he has been good enough, what kind of dickhead reporter even says that to someone? I wouldn't be surprised if he needs therapy after playing for the Oilers. I don't mean that as a joke, seriously, the whole thing has to detrimental for someone's mental health. If you've ever experienced workplace gaslighting, it can be awful. Sure he gets paid a lot of money, but I don't think it makes a difference.
