I don't mind the wait between like others. It feels more like a movie franchise than a TV show this way. And the production values of these TV shows are so high, and the actors so busy, they physically can't make a whole season in one summer.

I think people are worried because so many shows, including some of the best ones, don't end well.
But I think they are going to stick the landing on this one.
For me its just the huge production gap. I'm just not looking forward to it anymore. I'll finish it, of course and I hope its really good, but its about time to wrap this baby up.

I bought some of the Stranger Things Doritos. It's a mix of Cool Ranch and Pizza flavoured chips. They put more thought into that combo than the writers put into the show.

I disagree. Those are not a good flavour combo. Maybe the pizza flavour is wrecking the whole thing.
I'm not super pumped maybe because of the long gap between seasons but I'm sure I will get sucked right back into it once I start watching. It's always difficult to wrap up a long and popular series with a conclusion that satisfies everyone. Hopefully they manage to wrap things up cleanly and in a manner that is satisfying to most.
At least it's getting a proper ending. Has any other Netflix show been able to do that?
I dont know. Good question.
Say whatever else you will about Stranger Things but they made it compelling. Even people like me who have more or less lost interest are still going to finish it.
Its a strange recipe but for whatever reason it hooked a lot of people. Part of me believes that the intro-credits are actually some form of Hypnotoad.

So a heads up, the first 4 episodes of the final season dropped today and I think may have crashed Netflix?
3 more on Dec 25 and the ginormous finale on Dec 31.
I have to go back and re-watch S4 because its been so long I dont remember what happens.

Just started watching episode 1. The recap they provided at the beginning was pretty good. Plus there's a time gap between this season and the last, so it's a little easier to jump back in.
But yes, the delay was large. I'd totally forgotten about that Robin even existed and she's a pretty major character in this season so far from what I've watched.

I think I'll do the re-watch anyways, but E1 of S4...I'm thinking that a good Doctor well armed with some anti-psychotic meds could have easily righted 'the Good Ship Hawkins.'
