I think one thing the organization realized with the fan backlash of this season is there is absolutely zero beef with Conroy from the fanbase and he is being almost universally supported so despite the bad start the fans don’t care we want Conny to keep this rebuild going

Funny Francis now saying his belief is that the deal was done for some time. He certainly kept that close to the vest during the whole Maloney thing. I guess it made for a more juicy story to leave that detail out.

Lol... weren't sure when to announce it because of the team's tough start. It sounds like they thought fans would freak out if he was re-signed when pretty much the opposite happened.
