The Oilers have allowed the most goals in the league at 95 and it's not even close. The Canucks are 2nd with 86 and they're without their number 1 goalie.

At this point they'll just be rearranging the rubble. Fun to see, and I hope they waste draft picks doing it (what other assets do they have?), but unlikely to make much difference in the on-ice byproduct.
If they make a panic move now, it will be like Wile E. Coyote opening his teeny umbrella to protect him from falling boulders.

That 3-0 goal at 1:49 where two of the Oilers were having a beer at the bench while changing and while 3 Stars are entering the Defensive zone is peak Oiler effort.
4:14 is also a masterpiece

Why is Bouchard killing penalties? He has no clue how to play defense. He loses puck battles all the time. He has something to offer on the Powerplay, but killing penalty killing?

Maybe if you're going to give up a goal you might as well get it over with quickly?
He also has...'unique vision.'

The World Ends when you're dead. Until then, you've got more punishment in store. - Flames Fans
If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
McDavid and Draisaitl are the two best player in the world, AINEC.
Bouchard is one of the greatest offensive talents on the blue-line in a generation.
Ekholm is one of the NHL's best defensive defencemen in probably a couple of generations.
Nurse - what's not to like? Big, mobile, and great in all 3 zones. Frightening to play against too, and keeps the opposition honest.
Knoblauch - well on his way to becoming the most successful coach in the NHL. Name another who has two straight SCF appearances! I predict that within a decade, people will stop using Scotty Bowman in arguments like "Even Bowman can't save this team", and replace it with Knoblauch.
If I really had to guess at what is going on in Edmonton - why this generational team is off to s slow start - I would have to say that it started in game 1. I think the Flames broke them.

3 guys changing on the back check is an Oilers hat trick.
