Haha.. So it didn't actually matter if Leon and McDavid extended or not, they were going to enter their post-apex decline either way.
Really bad team. No Good, one might say.
Since November started the lowly Flames have been way better than them.

Oilers are a bad, bad hockey team.
- Bouchard gives zero ####s about defense. His compete level is a complete embarrassment.
- Ekholm is a shell of his original self, he is done. Good thing they resigned him.
- I know Hyman is coming back from injury but he looks like he has lost a major step. Hardly even noticed him.
- McDavid and Draisaitl have completely mailed in any defensive play, they do not care in the slightest.
- Everyone is blaming goaltending, but it is not solely a bad goalie problem. The Oiler defence is brutal and give up loads of five alarm chances.
I think tonight’s game could be the final straw and we see The Knob fired.

Sad thing is, on this particular night McDavid isn't even the best Connor on the Oilers.

That 4th goal was prime best of McDavid defense, a slow drift and a half assed lazy poke check attempt.
There was that commentator the other night that said McDavid was no slouch defensively. What the hell was she talking about. Its like saying a basketball is no slouch in bed.
