Plus Binnington is a bit of a name brand compared to Skinner. And, Binnington is a bit of a spicy turd so he'd fit right in.

I took it to mean that the team could use more players with the skill and play style of Kadri; not that he proposed to go out and trade assets to acquire more 35-year-old centres. I think you would have to be wilfully obtuse to suggest that he meant the latter.

I mean thats the bet...Vancouver can talk all they want. They are the team that traded a first last season and signed UFAs in the summer yet here they are the envy of the usual suspects on CP because of a media comment.

Their GM was on after hours a couple weeks back and shot down any rebuild talk himself. IMO teams should be judged on their actions, vancouver has been managed FAR worse than the Flames the last few years.
