I can’t say how many Rantanen apologists I’ve seen say that Coronato “randomly stopped”. He went to the puck and looked like he was maybe going to backhand or try to reverse direction, you nimrods.

I was a Vladar fan. But Cooley is looking like an upgrade. He’s almost top of the league in GAA and save %

Nice problem to have. Hopefully they start giving him more starts. He’s definitely earned it.

He won me over in camp last year with the quote below. I've been pulling for him ever since.

Seeing him call Scott Oake "dude" was the highlight of the night for me.

Anyone miss Lombo last night?

I bet he’ll be sitting more go forward.

Here was a game where the "boring" play....almost.....paid off. Thought the Flames were very composed most of the time, generated some GOOD, not-from-far-away chances and played a fine defensive game. It kinda broke down in the third. I think Cooley lost a bit of his cool on that goal by Robertson...that was a firecracker and I doubt any goalie would have stopped it but for luck...and the Flames let up a bit.

It was an oddly satisfying game to me. Loved (for a change) the shootout largely because of Cooley's glove and the Naz goal.

I wish he was on the ice at a certain moment but likely wouldn't have been anyway

After seeing Coronato get rubbed out, god was it refreshing to see the least expected person Hubby without hesitation go in and go ghetto lol. That moment on I wanted those 2 points. Huberdeau went up a couple marks after that!!!

Huberdeau is certainly a team guy. Cooley absolutely loves him too and said he’s the best. I definitely don’t mind Huberdeau these days.

Hope Rantanen gets a hearing/suspension. Reckless injuring hits are becoming a pattern with him. For the Flames it’s Zary and Coronato.

Huberdeau stands up for his teammates quite often - not fighting but he's always mixing it up behind the net etc.

He should...suspended vs. Oilers
what a win for the Flames! Its crazy all the Flames get out of that is a 3min PP

actually I think he is auto suspended for at least one...2 game misconducts in 3 games
