Maybe mods should have a boilerplate statement with links to mental health resources available to post in threads where posters seem highly distressed.

You mean like suggesting that socializing and drinking is the way to happiness and connections where people are expressing issues with addiction? Or like, general “take care of yourself, get professional help” posts?

You’re usually better than this, Scroopy. I didn’t suggest socializing and drinking are the way to happiness.

I really have a hard time understanding how an individual with the fortitude and aptitude to complete the 8 years required to complete the PharmD program falls into this. It would also require a high level of social skill as well to achieve this. they are tested by live scenarios many times, have a vast amount of social functions and work four separate placements in their final year. The amount of study required is absolutely gruelling too. Is it possible that going through that has left this person burnt out and not found a way to recharge.

Combine that with difficulty finding work after all that, yeah that's a tough feeling.

What part of 'Join the Army' did you find particularly unhelpful?
