I completed my PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree at University of Alberta back in 2023

If you’re one of these people who promotes this, I’m not taking advice from you

I really hate sarcastic people like you. I’m not rich. In fact my bank account is single-handedly the reason I’m stuck under the parent’s house.

GGG laid out some very fair, rational lifestyle thoughts, and perhaps reasons why your mom is giving you a hard time. You are young, and should be putting all of your energy into improving your life later. Trust me, it's waaay harder when you are older. And yes, I know it sucks at your age, too. But most of us are speaking from experience of going to extended education, working crap jobs to make ends meet and toughing it out until we got to our goal. I lived in a rental with 4-15 room mates, depending on the day. It's not easy because life isn't easy.
If the argument is still affecting you, maybe some professional advice would help. There are free resources that you can use to talk to people. Talk to your doctor. It's certainly not healthy to be your age and have your sleep constantly destroyed by mental health and as you can see, is impacting your life. So fix it.
Life is a series of problems that need fixing, solving, moving on from...and I'm sorry to also sound like an Alpha, but dude, you gotta exercise. It's not really optional. The worst part is when you hit 35 losing weight is neigh impossible, forming habits is harder, your body is less capable. The trick with exercise is you have to find something you enjoy doing. Any movement is good. Biking, walking, disc golf, dodge ball, team sports might be good for your social life. Whatever, you have to find what works for you, but you really do have to find something. "Wet clothes" is a lame excuse, and I'm not sorry to say that.
He's also completely right about the chores, the exception being if your parents really want to support you to maximize the other areas of your life, it's OK to put less time there with their permission. But if you ever want to be a good spouse, you gotta be on these things regularly.
You sound lost and you need some help, but you really do have the power to do a lot of it yourself(unless their are disabilities here we aren't aware of). We are a bunch of guys who have lived through your life stage, but aren't so far from it as it to be alien to us. Keep asking for advice, it's up to you to actually do the work though.

I’ve been diagnosed with Autism since grade 3. Socialization and daily life functioning feel like a rock I can’t move out the way. I’ve also been experiencing anxiety attacks, to which my doctor prescribed propranolol, though I haven’t requested refills at my pharmacy yet…

He wouldn't even let me off the hook with just saying, 'yeah I'll go have some fun'. We spent half a session figuring out what that would be. Ended up landing on buying a remote control car.
I went to the park with it ripping around every night. My kids were really little so they were too young to play with it, but I started chilling with some pre-teen kids (no perv) at the park and I'd always let them drive it around. If they broke it it would give me something to do to fix it. Haven't touched it in years, but I'll be damned if that prescription to 'have fun' wasn't the most memorable thing I got out of that therapy.
In fact - and I've never put this together until now - I've made a life out of making sure to do at least one fun thing a day and at least one big fun thing every weekend...usually with my family, but often with my friends. I think that lifestyle choice came from that simple advice to have fun and I believe it made for a wonderful childhood for my kids and a great parenting experience for me.

My apologies and congrats. You're obviously a high achiever who has mental health challenges that lots of high achievers have. You need to keep working on your health. I don't believe sitting home alone playing video games and watching hockey will benefit you. You say you don't like being around people. Maybe try applying for lab jobs with your credentials? If you're able, get that licensing exam under your belt and go from there. I've always felt that getting stuff done and exercising are great antidotes for anxiety. Agree with others that watching tv is not a hobby. Maybe you could use video games as a reward for when you've achieved something you set out to do. Study for a few hours, play a game. Workout, play a game.

Nothing GGG said is "alpha" stuff. It IS adult stuff, though. It's the sort of 'basic adulting' that it seems like your mother is trying to help you move towards. You shouldn't be so dismissive of it, especially as it's pretty much a blueprint of what you asked for.

Totally not alpha.
I wouldn’t describe anything on my list as alpha what in particular in my post led you to think that.
I do think the Peterson manosphere presents easy solutions that don’t resolve issues to the problem you are having which has become a toxic recruiting pipeline to the alt right. It’s good that you are actively trying to avoid this trap because you are the target audience.
When I think of exercise it’s hiking, running and yoga for me which is about as least manly as you get. It’s an important habit that would likely improve mental health.
Anyway my goal in my post was to provide you an alternative view point of a parent of what I would be concerned with. Hopefully this allows you to evaluate your moms concerns without the baggage of your relationship with your mother

This sounds like a Reggie ism, although a pretty grim one

No it’s fairly accurate. I think that lynching was also brought up. It was pretty concerning in regards to OP’s mental health to be honest.
