I think the victims (around 1000) might have grounds for huge damages, for the failure of government agencies and enablers to investigate and prosecute these crimes?

You speak as though the rule of law is still a thing?
Piggy just threatened to kill members of congress, and the couch humper defended him.
Forget rule of law… humanity is no longer a thing.

Trump's circle of simps must believe the Republicans will never lose the White House or they are just very stupid because I can see the majority of them going to prison if the Democrats get in.
There's no point in having the 25th amendment if it's not going to be used when it should be. Although Vance probably wouldn't be a great upgrade if Trump were to be removed.
I would usually say the impeachment process should start tomorrow, but that probably won't happen anyways.
Watching the U.S. being led by a mentally unwell man who is now suggesting death to politicians he disagrees with should be the end of the line for anybody in normal times. Now it's a shrug of the shoulders and wait to see what he'll do tomorrow.
This is only Year 1. His brain and actions are not going to get any better over the following three. I'm not sure what or when the breaking point will be, but that country is in really serious trouble.

Vance might not be an upgrade, but when Trump goes the spell is broken MAGA splinters.

At the risk of posting a two hour video that few people will watch, this is a fascinating if uncomfortable listen. It's a self-avowed Christian Nationalist of the exact type that is intertwined with Project 2025 who are now directly influencing policy at the federal level - i.e. a guy high up in the same "sect", for lack of a better word, as Pete Hegseth - explaining his world view with very little filter. Specifically, this guy:
I'm sure some of what he says is blunted for the audience but not a lot, and Harris lets out a lot of slack in the rope - he spends about an hour establishing parameters and just getting the guy to talk about what he believes before he starts to narrow in on the key points like "are you okay with executing homosexuals".
You can also very easily see how someone already indoctrinated in many of these beliefs would find Wilson's approach eminently reasonable and even moderate compared to some shouty fringe-types. And yet at its core, his world view is utterly insane. This is also good ammunition for engaging in dialogue even with fellow Canadians who think there should be some role for Christianity or Bible-backed ethics to play in government, just to figure out where on the broad spectrum of crazy those people actually sit - if you're interested in having those dialogues at all, or if you can't avoid them for family reasons, etc.
It's very useful to understand what the real viewpoint is here because it's far too easy to just sort of generalize Project 2025 as vaguely interested in a theocratic state without being clear about what exactly these people are after, and on what timelines.
I watched it. It's wild just how level headed and calm he remains while justifying stoning people to death. "Not right away, it's something we'll work to" I think was the gist of it. This is a great example of why you don't give these people an inch, because they will bludgeon you to death with it. Not right away, just eventually.
