No, old school you would use nat gas (from the casing) to operate the little pumps (MeOH) and valves etc and it bleeds off, so vents. Its pretty miniscule but adds up. So, convert them to pneumatics with air instead. Used to get carbon credits for them that helped justify the poor economics to do it otherwise.

I know some companies are now bypassing going to pneumatic all together and switching all of their actuators etc to be electric instead of using natural gas and venting, which is what the government wants, but it is only economic and realistic to do when coupled with grants. Heard that some of them are $20K+ a piece.

Just consistently terrible. Absolutely GMG.
Weird. We have had 1 issue in the last 3 months. We got grapefruits instead of oranges which was kind of funny. Easy refund so no big deal.

All my friends now do it and never had a big issue from the signal hill location.

You must be unlucky.

You get a refund if you have the slightest complaint about a produce item so I’m not sure how it benefits them. It’s generally all just average produce you grab at the store (ordering from signal hill location).

I was given the explanation early on in the whole click-and-collect thing that basically, if you're in the store and buy wilty lettuce, that's on you; if the store delivers (or picks for you) wilty lettuce, that's on them and will be subject to a refund... It made sense then and still does now.

I've made very few returns for poor quality... maybe 3 times in the 5 or so years we've been using it. Usually there are some odd or hilarious substitutions, but you can opt out of those before your order is finalized.

(Usually use the same store as Weitz)

####ing insurance companies.

Try to get a new home insurance policy placed. Get a bunch of quotes, find the best option. They say it will be $X. Ok, I notify my current insurance provider I'm switching to someone else, sign all the documents. The new provider then asks a bunch of follow up questions. Then they say it will now be $X + 1000. And my existing policy is about to lapse.

I want to punch someone in the face as hard as I can right now.

Hah I had a similar GG last year. I got a quote for new home, auto and motorcycle insurance at a significant savings. I signed all the paperwork and was told I’d have confirmation in a few days time.

I waited a week and called the broker back. Turns out they never submitted my documents to the insurer, and over the course of a week it went up $700 per year. I was pissed initially, but then they tried a different insurance company that was only $200 a year more but I got accident forgiveness added to the policy. Fast forward 6 months and I was at fault for a minor rear ended accident that didn’t affect my rates at all.

That was my car insurance shopping experience too.

"We'll quote you a significant amount of money less than what you currently pay for insurance on our website after you tell us EVERY detail of your current policy requirements... then when you call we will add a couple grand because of some obscure thing we added on our screen."

I'm just glad I usually do the order of operations the reverse of yours; find the new insurance first, then cancel the old one.

You know, a google doc would be great. Let's crowdsource the face punching.

Speaking of, what happened to the guys who were really into Charlie Kirk?

For such a watershed moment in human history for those folks, that was sure forgotten quickly.

We started a Dodgeball team called 'The Charlie Kirks.'

We're not very good.
