It's good because the team needs to hear this viewpoint be represented on a large platform. If by chance ownership is actually this stubbornly clueless about the situation, the local media should be relentless. It's fair.

I think the flames are moving in the right direction, but I agree all the rebuild subterfuge is largely unnecessary. You can leave a crumb for our sanity.

If the Flames insist on peddling this type of message as a way to shape a market or to insulate the season ticket base from reality, it's frankly a little bit insulting and they deserve to be torched.

Edit: I do get what Barnburner is trying to do. They are unrestrained by the fact they are not the broadrcast partner of the Flames. They can be more critical, which is a good counter balance to have in the market. But I also think they are playing into that part of the fan base that is already more negative and riled up. Last night's comments from Maloney is red meat for that part of the fan base, and BB is smart to play into that.

Feels like fear of firing if they speak out against this garbage we are getting.

As someone who has season tickets, I’m not gonna stop going if we are bad. I’ll look forward to going if we have young exciting hockey.

A lot of it is their actual opinions, which many Flames fans share their view points. I'll be honest, I agree with almost everything in his rant. This isn't some crazy view point, a lot of fans share the same views.
