I don't think it's Huska that makes the decision. I believe it's the Flames video review team, Pringle is one of them. Huska in those situations is a messenger I think.

It's only Civil Goaltender Interference, doesn't meet the bar for a Criminal GI charge

Because sometimes it's judged to be incidental contact. It still prevents the goalie from getting set, and allows the goal though.

That was a good challenge, guy went in with nobody anywhere near him and bumps the goalie...main point is Cooley cant get to the top of the crease. If thats a goal just stand in the crease at all times and dont let the goalie cut the angle.
That being said I wasnt sure they would get it right.

It was contact with the goalie in his crease that prevented him from getting into position to make the save. It's pretty much the textbook definition.
Not enough to deserve a penalty, but enough to disallow the goal.

It actually worked having Klapka parked in front on the tying goal against Winnipeg. Why would they try it again?
