Big 2 points on the line.

Please lose, Flames.

6-4 Sabres. Coronato with a hattrick.

Guessing Morton stays in and Beecher takes a wing. Sharangovich goes back to the rafters.

Sorry about the slightly messy GDT. My computer kept telling me that the GDT post, "The text that you have entered is too long (42342 characters). Please shorten it to 40000 characters long." That is why there are 2 posts. The oversized photos were all I could find as the regular links that hwy19man and I go to did not have any regular size.

It will probably be an ugly game, but they'll look good playing it.

Buffalo's blue against Calgary's whites is one of the best uniform match-ups in the league.

I hate this schedule. B2B, with travel, fly across the country home for a game B2B with more travel, then fly back across the country again for 4 games in a week, with travel. At this point, a good effort is about all we can hope for. Go Flames.

Not that it would have mattered probably, but this schedule is absolutely brutal and stupid. I get it's an Olympic year, and yes I know scheduling is a logistical nightmare, but at some point doesn't common sense get a say? The schedule to start this season is the most unfair I can remember.

I don't think that the league is intentionally sticking it to the Flames, but why not have someone look at it and say, "whoa, let's fix some of this"

Do we finally help Cooley get his first win of the season?

This is the franchise we want to avoid becoming at all costs.

The Sabres piss me off because we have been such a good fit for trading pieces in the past but they never deal to us. Reinhart, Eichel, Cozens, Byram to name a few

To be fair, so many players with NTC have Buffalo on their list and when we had the chance, we didn't want to move what were (and still?) deemed key players like Zary. Then there was the possibility of moving Tkachuk years ago but likely he wouldn't re-sign there.

Battle of the mega bad.

Buffalo has mastered it over the years.

The Flames are giving them a run for their money this year though.

And yet BUF has managed to move those players out to other teams

This Buffalo team actually isn't that bad IMO - they have just had a ton of injuries this year.

Dahlin just came back. Norris, Kulich, Benson, Zucker, UPL, and Kesselring are all out.

I think if they were healthy this year they would have been in a better position to not be a bottom feeder.
