Default November 18 with seven games.

The Tuesday OOT has nearly every game involving
western conference teams. The two games to follow
are the Blues-Leafs and the road warriors of the Rangers.

At this point you'd have to think that Bedard, Celebrini and Schaefer all make Team Canada.

This reminds me of 2006 where they selected Doan, Bertuzzi, Smyth, and Draper ahead of Crosby, who while in his rookie season was still a top player in the league.

Because its a team and there are different roles...they don't just take the top 15 Canadian scorers. One or two of them will be on the team. Very unlikely all 3 are.

That said, you DO send your very best scorers. Bedard & Celebrini are two of Canada's very best right now.

Romanov left the game after a hit from behind by Rantanen, though looked like mayfield got Rantanen off balance which sent him into Romanov. Rantanen got a 5 min major and Patty Roy caught on a hot mic screaming at Rantanen ‘you won’t finish the next f’ing game!’. Two teams play again in March.
It’s uncanny how many guys have been injured by Rantanen in what looks to be accidental plays. Either it’s just really bad luck or he is sneaky dirty. Didn’t he injure an oiler then a flame last year over a short period of time?
Edit: ‘Awkward’ collision with Zary last year, that’s what I was thinking of. Then injured Skinner with a bump.

That roles thing worked out well for the world juniors team last year.

Send your best players.

Wild finish to the Stars/Isles game too. 0.1 seconds left and Stars score, which would have tied it. Robertson voluntarily entered the crease and clipped Big Save Dave, who was irate. Pulock did have a push on Robertson, but Robertson would have clipped BSD anyway. Goal overturned, Isles win. Mentally incompetent Stars fans boo relentlessly. Go back to watching football, Texas. Can't wait until your division leading team fails and chokes in the second round again.

I think with 25 man rosters, compared to just 23 for 4 Nations, both Celebrini and Bedard make Team Canada

I think Bennett, Jarvis, Cirelli, Stone, Konecny and maybe Hagel are on the bubble from the 4 Nations team

I never thought about this before seeing Danielsons called back goal last night…. But there is a dead spot in the blueline for offside which doesn’t make any sense. It has to come all the way out, but also be all the way in to be onside? It should be onside if the puck touches the blue paint.

Bennett thrives in the playoffs when the officials put their whistles in their pockets and it's a demolition derby out there. Otherwise he's a mediocre player. It would be a mistake for Canada to take him over Celebrini/Bedard. IMO.
