Young guy, NHL experience, C, either they just want to test drive him or something else may be coming

Can't go wrong with a big young center.

Bruins fans seem to hate him for what it's worth. 22 points in 136 games, 4th line guy, not a big AHL scorer either

Meh, why not?
but also why?

31 points in 78 AHL games.

22 points in 138 NHL games.

So a bigger plug with minimal PIM's. I guess he kills penalties? Just what we needed!

WTF?!?!?

That is weird. A little younger and bigger than Morton. But other than that, not much to say. If you are looking for a C from that draft try and make a deal for McMichael who is having an off year.

Fits what Huska wants his 4th line to be...is a center...that's really the only upside.

More "meh" from outside the organization instead of just giving Kerins, Morton, Stromgren, etc more opportunity in the NHL.

I could see claiming Beecher if he was a RHC. The pro scouts must see something they really like.

Kadri gone:

Huberdeau - Frost - Coronato
Sharky - Backlund - Coleman
Farabee - Morton- Zary
Lomberg - Beecher - Klapka.

Tomasino is on waivers today. We should snag him too.

This to me signals to me that there's not a lot of belief in the role players that are currently with the Wranglers. Which, fair enough I suppose. A bummer though, as when you grab guys like Morton/King etc. you hope the path forward is a bit more clear.

I don't think anyone would be heartbroken if Morton/Kirkland shuffle off. Beecher is younger, so it makes more sense if he can carve out a role over Morton or Kirkland.

Kerins isn't a fourth liner though.

I see little to no point in playing Kerins on the fourth line. He needs minutes, it's like Zary.. Zary has played really poor this year, I get it but putting him on the fourth line will never solve anything.
